How to leave a bequest to PeopleAid in your Will
For many a bequest or legacy is their most important gift. Bequeathing financial gifts, property, shares, jewelry, artwork, antiques or other items to PeopleAid is a very special way of helping the underprivileged while creating a meaningful legacy. Each and every bequest, whatever the amount is gratefully received and a real blessing to those less fortunate.
We respect donors views and welcome confidential discussion concerning any bequest intentions. If you require any further information or want to discuss anything at all then please contact us.
We also recommend that you seek qualified legal advice so that you can be properly informed concerning making or amending your Will. Simply including the following wording in your Will is normally all that is required to make your gift to PeopleAid.
[I give and bequeath the sum of $amount of my estate to PeopleAid (*country and charity number),
or I give and bequeath all or xx percent of the residue of my estate to PeopleAid (*country and charity number),
or I give and bequeath to PeopleAid (*country and charity number) my property, shares or similar assets (listed here),
or I give and bequeath to PeopleAid (*country and charity number) the item (describe the item),
free of all taxes and duties for the general purpose of the said organisation and I declare that the receipt of PeopleAid’s authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees.]
On behalf of those lives who you will greatly bless – thank you.
